Flamenco con Celina Zambon en Santa Monica

I am now taking flamenco classes with Celina Zambon in Santa Monica, California. She is a great teacher--she's a lot of fun and she really cares about technique and about the journey of each of her students.

I highly recommend her classes if you are in the area and interested in flamenco. She teaches beginning through advanced levels. I am learning bulerias, tientos, jaleos, sevillanas (with castanets, shawl, and fan), and alegrias.

I will definately be writing more about flamenco with Celina Zambon, CZ Flamenco Dance Co. and the flamenco scene in general.

Love Flamenco Performs during Old Spanish Days Fiesta 2009

Love Flamenco had a great Fiesta season! If you missed it, here is the video of our performance at Fiesta's Noches de Ronda at the Santa Barbara Courthouse.

Love Flamenco Performs this Saturday at the Courthouse

I will be performing with Love Flamenco this Saturday, August 8 at the Santa Barbara Courthouse Sunken Gardens. This performance is part of Fiesta's Noches de Ronda. The show begins at 8pm but our group will probably perform closer to 9:45pm. We will be performing "Anda Jaleo", a very dramatic bulerias piece. Hope to see you there!
